How many times a day do you whisper to yourself “I can’t, I mustn’t, I shouldn’t, or I’m not”? This is your limiting beliefs in action.

All these words affect our minds, behaviors, and attitudes. They act as constraints to our lives and -sadly limit us.

We simply attract all these beliefs and thoughts through the law of attraction. We’re all susceptible to the law of attraction regardless of our age, religion or nationality.

It’s all about using the power of the mind that translates our thoughts into realities. Therefore, if you only focus on negative thoughts, you’ll just stay in an awful reality. The law of attraction plays a vital role in limiting our beliefs.

The list of limiting beliefs is endless and full of faulty beliefs. However, I’m going to mention some of the most common beliefs that most of us face.

Limiting Beliefs and Law of Attraction

We’re always affected by the law of attraction in some way. The most challenging part is realizing that all our decisions in life have been shaped by us.

The following part will discuss 10 limiting beliefs and how they affect our lives.

1. I’m Too Old or Too Young

This is a common thought and feeling among people from different generations.

The tricky part is to use the law of attraction in your favor. Encourage and challenge yourself every day. Aging doesn’t mean that you should lose your youthful spirit and energy.

Did you know that the famous Charles Darwin was 50 years old when he published his “On the Origin of the Species”? His thoughts and theories are some of the most profound in science.

2. I Don’t Have the Right Skills

Every artist was first an amateur. Most of us put the blame on “Skill”. The truth is that everyone is born with capabilities that differ from one to another. You shouldn’t compare yourself to others.

Successful people have exerted huge efforts to master their skills.

According to the law of attraction, you should always remind yourself of the purpose behind learning a new skill, so that you stay motivated.

Set realistic goals for short and long terms and always be proud of yourself.

3. I Don’t Have Appropriate Educational Qualification

This certain belief holds many talented people from achieving their goals.

Many successful people didn’t even graduate. However, through determination and hard work, they paved their own way.

Nowadays, the internet is full of platforms that can help you excel in any domain. You can master a skill, a career, or any talent on your own.

4. I’m Not Good Enough

No one deserves to feel this, we’re all imperfect and have our flaws. The right mindset is about embracing all our imperfections. Self-love and appreciation are fundamental to our lives.

A famous quote described the importance of self-love, “You can be the most beautiful person in the world and everybody sees light and rainbows when they look at you, but if you yourself don’t know it, all of that doesn’t even matter”

If you always underestimate your worth, you’ll never make it in a career or a relationship.

5. What If I Failed?!

What if you didn’t fail and achieved more than you were aspiring to?

Trying and failing is way better than never doing anything. History is filled with “successful failures”.

Take Walt Disney as a strong example. He was fired from the Kansas City Star. His editor felt that he had no imagination. Life wasn’t easy after that as well.

Until he finally made it and became the best animator and was nominated for 59 Academy Awards!

6. People Are Better Than Me

If you always compare yourself to others, you’ll never take a step forward. It’s better to focus on yourself instead of comparing yourself to others.

You don’t know how much effort they exerted to fulfill their dreams. Therefore, work on your skills, strengths, and work as hard as you can.

7. I Don’t Have Enough Money

How many times have you said that your dream is impossible due to the lack of money? You can’t buy your dream house or start your own business because you’re not rich enough.

According to the Law of Attraction, the things you believe inwardly will be the things that you attract. If you want to attract something such as money, it’s important to visualize it as if you already have it.

Visualizing money as if you already have it can also create an abundance mindset, as opposed to a mindset of scarcity.

I’m not saying that money isn’t important, however. Why don’t you start with what you have now?

8. I Don’t Have Enough Support

I totally understand that we all need love, support, and appreciation to keep going. We need to feel that there is another person who believes in us and in our dreams.

However, we can’t always have everything. If you have one person who believes in you, trust me, it’s enough.

Moreover, be your own supporting system. Love yourself and believe in your dreams.

Another great thing that you can do is to support others if they need someone by their side.

9. This Job Needs Too Much Time

Most people want to see the results of their work before they even start. We always focus on the result instead of the effort we should exert.

You want to start an online course that’s important for your career, but it’ll require 6 months to finish. So, you postpone your plans because 6 months is too far away.

If you always think this way, remember that the best time to start something was tomorrow, but the second-best is today.

10. I’m Exhausted

Working hard to achieve your dreams requires hard work and effort. It’s normal for us to get tired and exhausted. Sometimes we feel that we’re done and it’s not worth it.

Trust me, you’ll thank yourself later for every time you pulled yourself and started again.

Conclusion

The previous are examples of limiting beliefs that hinder us from achieving our goals. It’s normal to experience them and feel that most of the time.

However, you can use the law of attraction and transform all these thoughts in your favor.

Know your desires and believe that they’ll come true through hard work and determination. Always look for evidence that you’re strong and that you have achieved a lot before.

Understand that the law of attraction is not a thing you can learn overnight. You should work hard and practice that art.
